How it's working?
- At low temperatures, clothing, gloves, the best shoes or socks will not always ensure your thermal comfort.
- Extremities such as hands, feet and toes are particularly susceptible to frostbite and frostbite, which have disastrous consequences.
- In case of frostbite, some tissues freeze, which causes damage to smaller blood vessels. This, in turn, leads to impaired blood circulation and cell death in the area affected by frostbite.
- The direct cause of cell death is hypoxia. In milder cases, low temperature may cause frostbite, or frostbite. Then parts of the body exposed to cold become red, painful and swollen.
- ONLY HOT® heaters are the most effective form of prevention against frostbite or, in extreme cases, frostbite.
- Thermal pads are made of natural, environmentally friendly substances such as:
- Reduced iron powder [FE] - responsible for the release of heat in the oxidation process [contact of oxygen with the powder],
- Activated carbon – responsible for absorbing oxygen, thanks to which the iron powder generates heat,
- Table salt - accelerates the oxidation of iron, so you can feel the heat coming out almost immediately after opening the heater,
- Mineral vermiculite – responsible for maintaining the appropriate moisture concentration in the heater.
Immediately after opening the package, heat release is activated. This happens through the contact of iron powder and oxygen - the oxidation effect. The perforation [membrane] of the cellulose non-woven fabric of each heater ensures proper oxygen supply and thus ensures perfect and even heat distribution so that the heater operates for 6 - 10 hours. The generated heating temperature of ONLY HOT® products is regulated thanks to the microporous non-woven fabric and prevents the product from overheating and the risk of burns. Depending on the type of heater, it reaches a temperature of between 50 and 70 degrees.
